Senior Pastor: Lee MasonLee is a native of Athens who graduated from Clarke Central in 1980 and from UGA with a BBA in Economics in 1984. Upon graduation he began ministering full-time to college students. In 1990 he married his wife Lisa and together they began a ministry to UGA called Bulldog Christian Fellowship. In 1999 Lee moved to Atlanta and served as the Director of Young Adult Ministries at the Church of the Apostles until moving back to Athens in August of 2007. Lee has a Masters in Biblical Studies from Reformed Theological Seminary and is finishing his Doctorate from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. Lee also serves on the board of Northeast Georgia FCA. Lee and Lisa are the proud parents of two boys – Daniel age 16 and Zander age 13. Both are active in sports and attend Athens Academy. Women / Childrens Ministry: Lisa MasonLisa grew up in Iowa in a diverse home, with a Jewish father from Boston and a Catholic mother from California. She became a Christian at age 13. Lisa graduated from the University of Iowa in 1985 with a degree in Education. After teaching in the Iowa City school district for three years, Lisa began ministering full-time at the University of Iowa. In 1989 Lee and Lisa were engaged and she moved to Athens, spending the next 10 years teaming with him to build a ministry at UGA called Bulldog Christian Fellowship. After the Mason’s moved to Atlanta in 2000, Lisa taught 5th grade again in Cobb county and at Whitfield Academy. Worship Leader: Paul ReevesPaul was born and raised in Savannah, GA. Growing up, he had dreams of becoming a pro basketball player. Those dreams lasted until his second year of playing college basketball at Armstrong State University, when his interest shifted towards playing music. Shortly after, he began writing songs and playing at Armstrong's BSU campus ministry. In his last year of college, he began full-time music ministry at New Creation, a plant church in Savannah, GA. That same year, his best friend introduced him to his bride-to-be, Katie. (What a great best friend!) In 2004, Paul married Katie and moved to Atlanta to further pursue music. For the last year, he has led worship at Big Creek Church in Alpharetta, GA. Paul also runs a studio called Domus where he records artist from Rebuilt Records, an Athens-based Independent record label. Paul and Katie are the proud new parents of Payton Reeves!
