Starting January 11, we will begin our annual 21 days of prayer and fasting. This fast is inspired by Daniel’s 3-week fast in the Old Testament!
These 21 days aim to draw us closer to God and to each other, and welcome what the Lord has for us. We will have weekly prayer and worship at the ministry center during Wednesday night prayer, and there will be a potluck to break the fast on February 1 following the service.
Whether you are new to fasting, have participated in the past, or are interested in learning about it, all are welcome and we hope you would consider joining us during this time of prayer and fasting. If you would like to learn more, email us at prayer@classiccity.org.

We will also be sending out daily devotional videos by text and/or email for all who want to receive them. These videos are produced by our friends at Victory Church in the Atlanta area and are tailor-made for a fast like this one.

Praying
Prayer is so important, and we believe that God answers prayer. We prioritize it in many different ways, including our volunteer prayer ministry, weekly prayer meetings, and our leadership prayer times over requests collected during our Sunday services.
Join us on Wednesdays for our midweek worship and prayer meetings, submit a request online or during Sunday service, or join one of our prayer volunteers by the altar during worship.
Volunteer
Our Prayer Volunteer Team provides great opportunities and includes great expectations. Some of the ways in which we expect our Prayer Volunteers to serve:
Sunday Service Altar Prayer once a month
Weekly Prayer Meetings, either on Sunday mornings or Wednesday evenings
Pray for the church throughout the week by praying over the requests that come in and the general health of our church body.
