Children’s Director

Classic City Church is hiring someone to be our new Children’s Director.

We are seeking an organized, enthusiastic, and responsible part-time Director of Children's Ministry to lead our team in creating a fun, engaging, and Christ-centered environment where children can learn about God's love and develop a lifelong relationship with Jesus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Shape the Future: Select a captivating curriculum that brings the Bible to life for children and fosters their spiritual growth.

  • Empower Your Team: Build a vibrant team of volunteers by recruiting, training, and equipping them to serve, share their faith, and love the children well.

  • Build Community: Develop activities for families that are engaging, age appropriate, and help to build environments and relationships that build the faith of our families.

  • Peace of Mind for Parents: Develop and implement seamless systems for child safety, check-in/out, and classroom cleanliness, ensuring an encouraging and worry-free experience for families.

  • Create a Welcoming Space: Cultivate a warm and inviting atmosphere in the children's ministry area, with clean, organized spaces that reflect God's love.

  • Team Effort: Work together with the church staff to develop cohesion between all ministries and groups to help to execute church-wide events and programs.

Schedule and Availability

  • Part-Time: This is a 10-to-20-hour-per-week commitment. (Could vary: some weeks may require more or less time.) This work will be in conjunction with another part-time children’s director.

  • Sunday Service: You need to be available vast majority of Sundays, typically from 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM.

  • Weekly Staff Meeting: Participation in a Monday staff meeting is required, typically from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

  • Remote Flexibility: Additional mid-week tasks can be completed remotely, with hours varying each week.
