Often times sports fans use the word “We” when speaking of their team’s accomplishments. “We” won, “We” played great, “We” scored a touchdown! Being a fan is enjoyable but it is not nearly as rich an experience as actually playing in the game. Today, just as he did two-thousand years ago, Jesus challenges those who want to follow him to leave the stands and get on the field. In this seven week series we will look some of the dynamics involved in transforming from a supportive observer to an impacting participant in God’s purposes.
